Sometimes you have to go through thorns before you can smell the roses.  Is it worth it?  Yes.

The skies above my home are tinged orange because of the horrific fires in California.  My heart and thoughts are with all those who suffered through tragedies this week in my home state.

Hi Bella,

We have been watching the news here and how very sad and horrible for people that have lost their homes. Prayers, that they will be out soon.
Stay safe dear friend

I hope the damages do not become bigger.

How did I miss this.
So very sad about the fires, beyond what words can express. I hope the air has cleared up, for you and everyone.

Yes, worth the thorns.....
I love roses, the scent the taste, the spirit and they are other sorts of medicine too.

Such a dear piece and good to ponder.

Such a devastation. We should all be kind to each other and be aware it could happen to any of us. Beautiful image!

So sweet! I love that she looks like reaching the blooms was worth it despite the bruises and scratches.
I’ve missed my blog friends ever so much. I hope life is treating you well!
