Illustration Friday: Grow

When the kids were little, we used to tell them that Daddy grew his mustache by concentrating really, really hard.  Oddly enough, when my cousin was visiting recently, he told us a story of trying to grow a mustache as a kid by concentrating really, really hard.  So now I'm wondering how many other parents have told their kids the same thing.

I love the effort you captured on their faces, especially the boy in the orange shirt!

HA! I like the concentration of the guy whose face is in the magnifying glass. He is REALLY trying...wonder if some whiskers didn't pop out from that expression?

Other thing which puzzles me, is HOW did I let you escape the wrath of my comments for such a long time? Oh, well, I'm back on the blog--yes...YOU are on my sidebar list, so I'll be hangin' around...again.

I love all the little faces concentrating!
Plus the magnifying glass attempting to see the start of new hair. So cute.
I don't remember this technique, but it seems like i might have heard it.
lovely weekend to you ~

They are adorable all scrunchy-faced, Bella! That is pure talent I tell ya. Your work is always so full of genuine charm and FUN! I wish you a wonderful rest of August and summer (hope you're still enjoying fun and time with your kiddos!)..we are at the end of ours, but we are still squeezing all that we can out of these next few days. Hugs and TSUP to you!
