Illustration Friday: Stretch

Limo

Apparently, my proposed method of transportation did not please the High General.  So she came up with a design of her own, one more suitable for her rank.  No carpooling for Generals, no sir.

Hey that dog is making me hungry :) It looks so edible :) You know when I came here today, for the first time I noticved that your name spelt backwards is Railcnis Ellab, which just so happens to be the exact name I ued to use when I was touring Tasmania in the guise of an exotic danser in the late 50's - I kid you not :) Anyway, I hate coming here, your work fills me with joy -- how can I be grumbly when you do that to me ?? :)

Heh love that yawning one with the flower above - and of course the work by Emma is superb - she is making a grande high general!

Hi Bella,

Sweet illustrations and made me smile.
Sipping tea in the stretch limo, what fun!
Emma takes after her Mum, you are both so talented.

Happy day
hugs

Oh my goodness, reminds me of one of those long cloth dogs that you put under the door to keep out the draft! Clearly this use of the creature is far more useful for tiny, sleeping monkey people and their curly tails! And a smooth enough ride for a spot of tea - fantastic! :)

Your Little General has made a fabulous illustration. I particularly like the stylish scarf and hat. And of course extremely smart to include an umbrella in case of inclement weather!

i would love to hop on!
i adore you, dear bella.

Stretch: It's really cool! I like it very much, both because there are monkeys as well as a dog!

Emma's illustration is beautiful. I can see where the influence begins. :)

Oh yes, and the wiener dog looks like a lot of fun. Now I wouldn't mind being called a monkey if I looked as cute as one of them. Such talented monkeys. They can even curl their tails. I am the sleepy one. hehehe. Good morning!

So much imagination. I love the feeling of suspension happening... it's almost as if the girls are a swim/flying through a pleasant gel.

HaHa! So cute. All love seeing what both artists came up with.
Thanks for sharing.

Cute ways of transportation!!
I love the little monkey drinking his tea :)

Ted Blackman said...

Maybe it's not just the transportation; perhaps Emma prefers the latest fashions over your monkey suits. I would pick the monkey suit any day of the week of course, but I'm not a kid who's stylin'.
I do like that she has her cake and eats it too, and those head-turnin' spiral heart wheels, which could easily be the next auto trend.
And is that an anvil hanging from the bow? That's genius. Form follows function.

Ha ha...that limo is soooo cute, Bella.
I like Emma's too...

lol ...a gooder, bella ;)

the high general will be an artistic power on her own, in no time! YAY!

Bonjourno beautiful Bella :) Here is a Christmas joke for you. It was told to me by a six year old so I thought that you would appreciate it :) - well I thought it was funny. Q: "why did the toilet roll down the hill? A: "To get to the bottom of things " Hahahah :) Okay I admit it, I made it up on the way to school today. Wishing you and your family a wonderous 2013 and I hope you get all shiny things for Christmas - :) I am getting new teeth to replace the wooden ones (hugs!)

Oh Bella, I have missed so much on your wonderful blog but at last, I could have an ORGIASMIC experience playing gobble monster with all of them in one fell swoop.
