This poor little guy is going to work up a sweat getting out of that maze, and then what? Well, at least he has a morsel of food. Neat!

Happy Mother's Day to you.

Did Godzilla have a mother? I suppose he did. Is Godzilla a mother or is he a boy? Shouldn't he be called Godzillo?

I hope you are enjoying this day, relaxing.

Tsup!

Someone might have to help him! The maze looks big and confusing, although he has food to sustain him. :)
You are so talented...it's amazing to a non-artist to see how you've drawn the glass bell. You never cease to enchant me.

Krista said...

Oh, was I supposed to move along? Well, I never follow instructions! What fun you are, I think I'll stay. I hope you had a lovely Mother's Day with your sweet-patooties.

(Hey, that was funny you mentioned Katie and Willy, I had meant to say in the caption "gown designed by Sarah Birdton for Alexander McQuail" but I forgot! We were sharing a wavelength-- I just love when that happens!)

Linda Hensley said...

I love hedge underclass! It's so tasty!! More dressing please. I needed some fresh greens and I come to visit and you have it a pretty under glass. They let me out for about a minute just to let you know that I was still alive and on the planet. It's crazy, but I will finally be in NC. on the 25th and then it's unpacking DANGGGGGGGG!! Still so much to do. I just came by to tell you that I love you girly. Miss you so much.

Fairy floss? My sister used to tell my niece and nephew that the dried guck in your eyes in the morning was fairy poo.

Brian Lue Sang said...

I LOVE that Godzilla! I want one of those as a pet. How cool would it be if they came in a handy 'pocket monster' size?

Hi Bella! I know it's been a long time since I've posted, but sometimes I just don't have words to do posts justice. Weird, eh? Especially since I like to ramble on and on (see?).

Love your work as always! My 2yr old likes your stuff too (just thought you should know that she would comment too if I trusted her on a keyboard and she had the ability to comment).

Scrolling through your blog she was transfixed! Then we came to the Don King pic and she looked at me and said, 'Eeeeewww!'

Vanessa Brantley Newton said...

Did you hear about the Blogger Monster that ate all the comments and then there was this wonderful Woman, mother and artist who battled it all by lonesome ??? Huh? he he hehe! I'm still trying to figure out what the heck happen. Man this is wild and crazy. Apparently my computer has been hacked into and I have been sending wonderful message to family and friends, such as yourself, to buy dim little blue pills that helps one.... you know.... go blind, breakout in hives, causes memory loss, cancer, stokes, hair loss, uncontrollable hair growth, tumors, greed, despression, dirty dancing, uncontrollable drooling. I hope that you haven't gotten one. I love you.

P.S. and yes I am still packing. My mover forgot to put me in his book and now he can't do the job so now Ray and I have to move it all by ourselves. AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

If I need sensationalist catch phrases to get inspired, then I have no business doing what I need or want to do in any field or industry. Desire and motivation must come from within. You may not admit it but your desire and ideas come from within you. No one draws like you, not even if they tried. That is why you have a loyal following because you do not draw trite or commonplace themes and there is something naturally inherent in your work that makes adults fill their hearts with mirth.

As for getting motivated through his means, people are just posing. It is all so empty and meaningless to be a called an artist if you need pep talk like he gives. That is why who cares if one is called an artist or not? There is a difference between inspiration and imitation. I am glad you were able to read my comments.

Ces said...

Ouch! Stop mocking me. All I did was disagree with his a couple of his ideas. :(

Ces said...

Ack. So sorry. I thought you toying with me. But but but I do not deserve those aromatic words!

And yes, between you and me, that's okay to agree and disagree but I remembered there may be some people who will take offense that I disagreed with you and I did not want them to think that I am being disagreeable towards you and they will get upset with me for disagreeing with your assessment of Houston.

If you notice I no longer know how to write properly. It's a curse. I also meant Austin.

Bella Bella Bella! Thanks for stopping by to visit my blog post! Ha ha ha! I would love to have a birdie WORDIE such as you visit my gazebo bird feeder! :D heee hee hee! Hey...now that I am slowly, but surely getting settled into my new place I need to get my pics you drew of me tatting framed soonish and hang them on the wall!!! I will have to take advantage of a Michael's framing sale or something like that! :D yes, that is what I will have to do! Provided that they survived the move and whoever packed them did not ruin them UGH! If they did I will HUNT them DOWN and... and... EWW!!! Okay well why don't I deal with finding them first and then deal with my emotions appropriately because someone may have been very careful and they may be just fine!!! :D
Okay anyway! Good to see you! (((hugs)))
