It's June 2nd here and I was just about to go to bed after I spent the last three hours drawing acorns for my daughter's teacher.
And so, just as it has always been my habit, I wake up to your blog and end my day with it.
Tonight, I am overwhelmed, overjoyed and absolutely most grateful for this wonderful, beautiful, fantastic, incredible, brilliant, loving artwork that you dedicate to me, once again, on my birthday. Growing up I thought I had the most incredible birthdays but I am finding that there are more bests, because you are in my life.
This is the second year in a row that you have done this for me and just as I was gifted with a most blessed gesture from you last year, so it goes again.

You are right...it is how it seems sometimes with little ones...my office is in the same room as our TV, so when the kids get some "break time" after homework and all, guess who's yellin', "turn it down!"...(me, sigh). Oh, but that's not all of the time, they're really quite busy girls who still know how to make-believe. I love it.
