Fearless... (or over 40, when you really don't care what anybody thinks!! Such freedom!)

This is so adorable, sweet, clever, imaginative, fanciful, fabulously awesome (I just looked in the thesaurus under "Bella Sinclair"!)

Hey Bella!!! Superb! The epitome of FEARLESS ... and talent. Your textures are so amazing. The creature, the dress, the dandelions. I love her pose. So sweet and innocent. Love the twist you put on it. They are both fearless. :o)

Oooo... this is incredibly beautiful, Bella! Just look at the fur on that handsome creature, he looks so soft and cuddly. Did you do this one with pastels? ... And the details?? Ackh! I just LOVE those little nymphs peeking through the flowers and leaves! ((hugs))

Deborah said...

**squeals** What a beautiful mind you have! The little girl...I want to scoop her up and keep her, her pointed little feet and perfectly cut hair. Monster is so sweet in his apron. I love the darkness of the background, the green and the black, the weelings hiding in the bushes and flowers. Bella, you are so original, so talented. I want more of the story that goes with this. Delightful. JoY. **blows happy kisses** Deb, singing a happy song ♫♪♫

Gee, my friends never tease me when I play dress ups :) Except for the old guy across the road.

Bella this is superb (like super but with a 'b')

There are so many things to discover, all the little details, not to mention the super(b) draughtswommanship. I never like monsters in this style usually, but you have swayed me.

Just love the people hiding and the dent de lions in different variations of their lifespan.

It's all very elegant. Congrats :)

I'm glad I found your blog. I think the trail went Mita-ces-amalia-bella

PS thank you so much for all your kind comments on my blog. I've turned them off for a while for various out-of-my-control reasons, but they are still there!

Soph said...

AWWWWWWW this is sooo cute!! I love the monster...although I think he should be called really cute furry sweetness rather than monster!! I love the little tiny ones hiding behind the plants, and the little girl and her dress are so sweet! Love this! :D

k.h.whitaker said...

ooooooooooo, Bella, this is so cute. I love all the details and little surprises. I love the cute furry creature. I love the little girls dress. I love the dandelions! I want to stop by this morning and savor this again and I will do it again later and then scroll down to the other illustrations. It has become my "Joy therapy." Doing so warms my heart and fills me with love. I count my blessings and then smile as I say "Dang! This artist is great!" and then smile even more when I think she is my best friend!

Your details, Bella, are perfect. The little beings peeking out from behind the leaves: is it safe? And the little girl, young and confident nobody can harm her..and who wouldn't love to play with her? The young face life with such fearlessness.

Shirley said...

MAGIC! Pure magic. Bella, oooooohhh, this is one of those pieces that make me wanna dive in and be right there playing along. Just LOVE it. Hope you've been SUPER!!

Ces said...

I want to be fearless.
I want to be brave.
I want to be fearless but not like a knave.
I want to be fearless even if no one will rave.
I want to be fearless for myself I have to save.

Ces said...

Why do arms
who have never merged
and locked
converge
and reach deep
into the realm
of each other's being?
Even time
and distance
prove a strong resistance
and will not broker
a happy union
yet their hearts and minds
intertwine
like ivy vine
What's that term that means
fire-resistant or retardant.
There's a word for it,
I can't remember.
Maybe come December I'll exclaim it
when one morning I am eating
plain sugar doughnuts
with my coffee.

Ces said...

Hmmmmn!
"I smell it!"
She exclaimed.
The scent of baked chicken and broccoli wafted through the kitchen.
But she is sleepy...
