Oooooh! Arija looks so comfortable and secure in her rose cocoon. I always associate her with pink roses because of her avatar, although she could be comfortable if she was cocooned by wild flowers or any plant. Sweet darling Bella, this is a very beautiful gesture to our sweet Arija. I pray she gets well soon.

P.S. I LOVE the rosebuds!!!

OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH I know she must really feel the love right now. Arija has to see this!!! It's so beautiful! Okay it's to early in the morning for tears, but this is so sweet and delicate and fantastic and amazing and lovely and sweet! None of my Cocoons ever looked so beautiful! Mine looked brown greeny with a touch a gray LOL! Have you heard from Arija? I hope that she is resting.
How have you been??? I've missed you so much. Hope that is well. Talked to crazy Eric! He is doing well too. He has a birthday coming up soon. By the way, when is your birthday?
So glad that you loved the pictures from Piccoli. Oh my goodness Bella I only showed a few of the pictures from the book. It's amazing! I just got a few more that I will be posting soon. Okay, I miss you much and love you more,

oh my GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! this is such a precious gift for arija! you have got it goin' ON, doodlegirl.

Deborah said...

Your roses are so sweetly simple, and yet, I could never draw them in a million years. It is spiritual really, like the Bible being written for the common to understand, and the overly educated miss the point.

Hello there ;) I Popped in the other day and just thought 'wow', at the imagery.

It makes me want to re-visit Klimt,

you know when I think of roses I always think of the thorny end - but this time I didn't. Now that must mean something.

Thanks for your kind comment the other day. I was honoured

bye for now :)

Oh my goodness, this is wonderful and I want a cocoon. Oh, can you imagine the lovely smell and the softness. I just love this and it is perfect for Arija, I sure hope she gets better fast!
I am sorry for not being present, I am dealing with an overwhelming sadness right now. I am letting it run through but I have to take time for myself. I am not the best company and I have a nasty attitude, sorry.
I did visit all 1088 blogs but it was good for me then, that is when Howard's mother was dying. That might be what is catching up with me now, that and Madi's 4 molars coming in at once! She whines a lot.
Love and hugs sister friend!
I will just picture myself in that rose cocoon.

Hey Bella Sweetie! Yes indeed I have heard and seen those new home letterpress machines. I even have one. The darn thing frustrates the heck out of me through. I purchased one about 3 months ago and the plates that came with the dang thing cracked after only two uses. I was going to have a bottle press made. Sadly, Ray, aka, Mr. Fix it, never got around to making it. When Nester wants something Nester's gonna get it!!! I went around looking for letterpress machines. Table tops ones. I finally located one Ebay and it was the right price. Had it shipped from England and I can wait to use it. I took this class cause I wanted to know how to work with polymer plates. It's fun! Bella I am having such fun. I can't do much right now cause I'm in the middle of two books so I thought I would take the class so at least when I do get the time I will be ready to go. The Etsy store is all set up. I just haven't had the time to put anything in there is all. I figured maybe over the summer I will work on it and the website. How was Mother's Day? Hope that you had a wonderful day with the girls and your family. Can't wait to see you soon. Take care and love you THIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS much!

I think I 'm hooked he he he he he!!!

Do you remember that movie "To kill a mockingbird?" Scout, the girl, was inside a pear costume. Somehow this reminds me of that. All you can see are their faces! This one is so cute, like a rolling flower ewok. I keep thinking of Arija, I am concerned.

Your words really touched my heart Babygirl. I am missing Mommy and my babygirl as well. I lost them right behind each others. The beautiful part is she left behind the sweetest and most wonderful parts of themselves that are with me daily. Mom her wisdom and Rae a promise. Okay before I tear up.
The little press isn't that bad. There is a company called Boxcarpress.com that made some comments about how to get the best out of the little darling. If you get polymerplate created that are good and you use a good bayer you could really get some nice quality work out of it. When I have some time I plan on trying it was well. Who knows since I got a bigger one you might just fine the little one in the mail to you he he he he!
Love you moon pies and Skittles the green ones too.

...and my heart is warmed at the thought of him sitting down in quiet and peace creating those lines. One day he came to me and asked how he could draw the birds. I penciled a bird and then he drew the rest. He once told me "You know Mom, ever since you have been drawing trees, I have been noticing them. Each tree is different and they have marks. Each tree is beautiful, even the ugly trees are beautiful." He said other things that warmed my heart. I know that those words uttered lately that broke my heart were not his, at least not from his heart. He told me he wants to live in a piece of land where he can plant trees and have a little farm, somewhere in South Dakota...

My dearest angel Bella, thank you a thousand times for keeping me safe in my very own drift of roses.
I just got home today and am enchanted by your so sweet watercolour.
Almost a month in hospital and three more weeks of home visits by the district nurse to infuse anti-biotics into my heart ... then we shall see how we will go on ...

Deepest love to you my dear,
Arija
