Hippity Hoppity

Don't tell me you've never worn stockings on YOUR head.

Thanks for all your wonderful comments and words of encouragement. And for those of you who remarked that Frankenbunny had a Totoro resemblance, you absolutely floored me! You were spot on. He actually started out as a Totoro, but elected to have species-reassignment surgery at the last minute. I'm so grateful none of you thought he looked like Pikachu.

Skipping out of town for a few days. I hope you all have a blessedly wonderful week!

Oh I forgot to tell you something. In nursing school, I tried to wear my stockings like that but the matron told me it was not allowed. What a killjoy she was! I would have probably enjoyed my internship more if I wore my stockings this way! Goodnight!

Happy Easter! Don't strain a muscle skipping out of town, now! You know what happened when you hurt your back!
(((Hugs))) n' stuff! Your the best. How did you know that I wore a stocking on my head once? It only lasted a moment because I didn't like the suffocating feeling...thus ended my career as a possible bank robber.

Hihihihi! You ever, makes my days ! :)))
You are totally right, about- "Don't tell me you've never worn stockings on YOUR head". Once, I remember that I play in one little detectiv's scene, and there I was killer, for the greater similarity, I needed to clothe one big mom's stocking! Was very fine!
Awesome Picture!

Happy Easter Day, dear Bella!

I'm wearing stockings on my head right now, actually. I'm not looking as cute as this little lady though.

Ces said...

Oh good grief, I tried to put on the stocking on my head and I did not realize my head has gotten so big. I love Jenea's candor in admitting he was the "killer" for I was always a robber and I always sacked my puny police playmates. That's why police officers carry guns in real life.

Barbara said...

Oh yes, Bella. Stockings on our heads...and my kids too. I guess it's irrestible to all of us!

Adorable piece, I love it.
Happy Easter, enjoy the break.

Krista said...

Nope, no stockings here (well, maybe I could scrounge something up for something REALLY fancy!) I always thought I was meant to be a "girl mom", but, honestly, I don't think I could keep track of all the STUFF-- stockings, hair ties, scrunchies, you know. Boys-- t-shirt, shorts, maybe socks, shoes... done! I guess I'll just have to do my dollhouse in my old age. Or, maybe I'll just paint.

Anyway, this isn't about me-- it's all about this adorable bunny-girl and her springtime frolic!! Marvelous, as always, Bella!

Wow Bella, I so appreciate you checkin' in on me, you are such a great bloggie friend - I honestly don't know what I'd do without you guys! We're in surgery limbo right now, it was postponed till next week, 'cause the surgeon had his own emergency. So I'm taking the gift of time and getting as much work done as I can this week. My FIL has had ups and downs, it's been difficult, but we try to be positive.

Love your comment about the cow creamer, I did have one too, but it was standing up at least - I've seen cows lay down of course, but sitting, yikes, no wonder it freaked you out!

Thanks again for your concern and well wishes - xoxoxo, Susan

What I love about your drawings is that they are perfect. There are no mistakes that I can see. My drawings are full of mistakes and errors from an unsteady and shaking hand. Good morning! Thanks for the advice. A friend stopped by last week and commented upon seeing the living room, she stopped on her tracks and looked around with her mouth agape, she said "Wow! I love your house, it's a home and you are an artist." I just smiled but I am sure she noticed the rest of the mess. She has not been back since. HAHAHA!
