IF - Fast

Banzai!

I'm still scaling mountains of boxes, and getting tangled up in giant wads of paper and bubble wrap. I think I must have deforested a small village with my move, alone. Oy, the guilt! But I couldn't resist the IF word this week. Plus, certain people were getting restless and resorting to language, and I feared violence would be next. You know who you are.

Have a great week, y'all!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! This is soooooo good! Oh my, you are sooo goooood.

Seriously I love these black and white drawings of yours. You are a master shader and your concepts are very creative and a lot of fun, plus you execute them so skillfully. I wish I had half your skill.

Good thing you are opening your blog because you-know-who- was using my blog for an outlet because of banned language in her home turf. I thought I may be forced to issue an adult language warning because of her comments!

Bella, you are so special. Your style is so sweet, as if almost to cover up the fact that you are an incredible artist...a child-like quality placed over perfect technique. I LoVe. **happy smiles** Deb

You are such an incredible artist. Your drawing looks so simple yet takes such skill. So cute and fun!

Hmm...somehow I'm betting the mom wasn't lazy so much as tired.

Good luck with the continued unpack and move!

Oh I love this. I love the jumping fox, I have a cat that sits a top the litter box hood and does this when the unsuspecting little cat comes strolling out after a potty break. I feel so sorry for the little cat, but laugh hysterically anyway!
Bad Marie!
Love and hugs to you and the girls!!

You poor dear, sounds like you had a cesattack...any mountain is a good one toscake, even one made of fish and bubble wram is quite handy when making felt...or heart felt quick young foxes.

I just love the look on that little fox! You've made me laugh (again)! I look forward to each of your posts with glee! :)

Silke said...

Oh, Bella, you are seriously gifted - not only with your drawings and illustrations, but with your sense of design and humor -- almost a dangerous combination... ;) So glad you are posting your art in between unpacking!

I know how you feel about mountains of paper and bubble warp - it's the same when we move. Our kitchen/dish boxes alone must use an entire small grove of trees...

Have a wonderful weekend!! Love, Silke

aimee said...

not me! i did NOT threaten violence. i have been very good, biding my time and waiting like a good girl while you unpack and settled. lazy, indeed! i am sure you haven't stopped for a moment since that last post.

great drawing! may i borrow your rendering skills for a while?

Ces said...

To whom it may concern: It was not me who used foul language nor threatened violence because Bella was not posting! Anyone who would think such thoughts is terribly mistaken! I used my charm instead.

Cheryl Lynn said...

This is adorable, Ms. Bella! I love the height on the fox. I agree with esque, my cats (when I had them) used to do the same thing. Animals can be so funny and your illustration beautifully portrays play time among animals.

Have a great weekend, my dear.

Absolutely love this Bella! It's just wonderful.

Isn't unpacking a daunting task? At least you can draw cute pictures when taking a break.....it's precious!

Bella Sinclair said...

Ces, are you kidding me? You most certainly do have half my talent, multiplied by a hundredfold! This does not even come close to the level of detail you put into your work. And yes, you could wile me to do anything with your charm. Mwah!

Hello, Jenn. Thank you!

dznQ, you know what's super cute? Your avatar!

Aww, Doodlegirl, shucks.

Hi, Esque. I'm a big fan of LOLcats, and I don't even have a one. :)

Deborah, that is so sweet, thank you.

Thank you, theWillowsNest.

Wow, Lisa, I consider that high praise coming from someone who definitely has skill.

Hahaha, Voz. No, it's definitely laziness. That's why it's taking me so freakin' long.

Marie! Ack! HAHAHAHA! Good thing he pounces AFTER the potty. Something like that would make me pee my pants for sure.

Sarah, your son's name is Fox? That is such a cool name!

Thank you, Connie. Wee is one of my most favorite words. :)

Atelier Brigitte, thank you!

Hello, Krisztina. Thanks!

Thanks, Valgal.

Haha, Arija. A Cesattack is a GOOD thing! I'd have more of those in a heartbeat.

Hello again, Gypsy! You are sweet.

Hi there, Kathi. You can never laugh too much. :D

Silke, ahh, the kitchen, yes! And I bet you have a lot of nice dishes, don't you.

Hey, aimee. Whuh? Borrow MY rendering skillz? That would be a step backward for you.

Hi, Cheryl. Oh, I agree. I love watching animals play. So cute!

Thank you, Valerie. :)

Carolyn, thanks. I think I'm about halfway done with the unpacking. Boy, do I hate moving.

Hello, pupu. Chubby, yes! Maybe it's all fur.

Oh, Manon, I've seen that video of your dog Otis, and he definitely is not lazy. Adorable pooch, he is!

Caroline, whew, tell me about it! I need a break from the unpacking.

Hey there, Miss Froggie! Kid Fox...isn't that the name of a rapper or something? Shouldn't it be?

Pretty Day, thank you for that sweet compliment.

Caren, definitely daunting! Wish I were in Europe with you instead.

OMGosh, OMGosh, OMGosh!!! You are TOO funny, Bella! I ♥ ♥ ♥ that! I remember writing that (the real phrase) over and over again whilst practicing my calligraphy as a teenager. I took private calligraphy lessons as a swap for baby sitting for an art professor. I'm telling you that I NEVER in a million years thought of that quick brown fox pouncing on the lazy dog instead of jumping over him, LOL! Oh, what a funny picture that makes! You are hilarious and I ♥ your sense of humor! So clever!

I know who I am and violence was next on the agenda, so you are very smart to come and show us your lovely work.

Now to the nuts for our dear Ces. I want to be the hairy one when she wears us around her neck and the bald one when we are on her wasit.

As for position, I like to be the nut that kind of slips around inside the shell and won't commit to the left or the right.

Love you.

Renee xoxo

Renee said...

By the way 'wasit' is not a typo, it is just what I am now calling Ces' lower half.

ganbatte bella! i love the little pouncy fox!! hehee. maybe u could pretend to pounce on all the boxes and hopefully they might all come alive and get to where they ought to be. ok, i think i'm not making any sense. oyasumi!

Bella Sinclair said...

Hello, Tattingchic! Look at you are your cute little hearts. Hahaha. You took calligraphy lessons? My, you have very skilled hands!

Thanks, Miss Carole. :)

Oh, Laughingwolf, you said it. I want to sell everything and live like a monk.

Frà, grazie.

Hi, Janine! Not so adorable to the one about to be pounced upon.

Aw, Ribbon, thanks.

Hahaha, Renee, you nut! I wouldn't want anyone else to be my nut twin than you. And it's good that you're not committing either to the left or the right. You know how Ces does not like those who hang on the left.

Rebekah-san, that would be a sight! All those dancing boxes. Hahaha. Very Fantasia. Arigatou, my friend.

Sandybau, I wonder what the sleepy fox is dreaming....

Renee said...

Yes Bella we were doing it at the exact same time.

It is not enough for her that we are nuts willing to hang around her wasit she also wants to know if we are grazeing nuts. I told her that I certainly am not, but I couldn't speak for you.

Love you dear fellow nut.

Love Renee xoxo

Ah, Renee, dearest. I'm not so much of a nut grazer, either. Though when offered, I guess I could nibble one or two. I like mine honey roasted.

Good morning, Rip Van Winkle. Now go back to bed. I think you need some more REM cycles. There's more to happiness than warm...kitties.

Hello, Desiree. Thank you!

David Poe! I love your comment and your incorporation of the word "painfully!"

Ah, Ces. I shall make for you a fox stole. Would you like that?

Oh, Moonshadow, moving is so very stressful. You know, if the moving company had lost everything, I might have actually done a little jig.

Dusik! Moving starts with a CAPITAL B! Are you all settled in now? Hahaha, yes, I guess a male fox jumping on a sleeping female..... That would be more fun. Man, can't he wait until she's awake???

Oh boy, Miss V! I can just picture your wee little kitty pouncing on sleeping Kirby. HA! Poor Kirby. You selling tickets to cat fights now? I'll buy 3! Rawr

Hello, Encaracolada. Thank you. It's just pencil with the color digitally enhanced.

Owl Eng, thank you. I cheated, though. I saw a photo of a jumping fox that I thought was sooooo adorable.

Hello Soulbrush in London! Tally ho!

May! It is a happy day indeed, because you came to visit. :)

Hi, Monica. Gosh, thank you so much.

Arija said...

Bella dear,
don't you mean tentative rather than delicate? I havn't drawn for so long I hardly know which end of the pencil to use. Thank you so much for your encouragement.

Dear Bella, the comments you leave on my blog always floor me! You afraid to do or say anything... You strike me as the bravest person you know!

You have no idea how much I admire not only the way you live your life with such energy and sense of humor, where some of us would have crawled under a rock in despair, but also how your love of life and your incredible humor shine through your immense talent as an artist!

You are an artist not only on paper but also of life! And I am so honored to be a tiny witness to that!

Love, Silke

Goodnight.

Bella Sinclair said...

Dear Arija, no, I mean delicate. And please don't use the blunt rubbery side. I most definitely want to see more from you.

Silke, I don't know what to say. Such powerful words. I hope I can live up to them. oxoxo

Cheryl Lynn.... Geronimooooooo!

Hello, Bobo. Thank you.

Oh, Diana, don't cramp your drawing hand! That would be terrible. And you are SUPER popular, are you kidding me??? You've always got it going on at your blog.

Haha, Shirley. Poor mama? It's poor baby fox. Oooh, Mama don't like being pounced on when she's napping.

Goodnight, Ces! Yes, I am a sleeping blob.

Hello, Monica. Thank you. Woooo!

Hey there, my Lin Lin Liiinda! Yes, lazy. L.A.Z.Y. Fortunately, the only violence has been by me on many hapless cardboard boxes.

Faruffa, grazie! I missed blogging.

Yes, Ces, a blob, a trembling mass of jelly. Imagine the ripples.

Doh! TattingChic! What, no cute icons for 'wink wink'???

Björnik, one first class ticket, coming up. :P

Haha, Justdoodleit. Sweet but deadly. Like a giant cheesecake.

My goodness, Kim, that is quite a compliment. I blush!

Hi, Nina Seven! I've missed you, too. Thanks!

Mr. Breese, my favorite motion is the motion of sleeping. ;)

Hi, Kaili. I rather like my bubble wrap suit. Like a cocoon. I feel safe here and may never emerge.

Stroke away, Serline, stroke away. Remember, go with the grain, not against.

Loni, thank you!

Michelle, what a beautiful smile you have.

Nina C, thanks!

Renee, personally, I find duct tape over the mouth just as effective.

Kathiesbirds, welcome! I hope you gathered a few acorns on your way over here. We is all nuts.

My youngest and I were watching a PBS special called "Christmas in Yellowstone", and there was a scene where a fox was hunting for mice in the snow. Every time he would pounce, my daughter would giggle. Finally she looked up at me and said, "Oh, I want him!"
