IF - Welcome

Bringing out the welcome wagon.

My wonderful and extremely talented brother-in-law Jeff recently started his own blog about painting. Jeff's beautiful oil paintings have a pensive and passionate quality. They stir me, emotionally. He works hard at honing his already innumerable skills, which I find highly admirable. Please welcome Jeff to the blogging world of artists.

Hey ya, Jeff! Yo yo, bro!

Dear Bella,
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for your lovely note on my blog last week. With all of the mail you must get, I was so touched that you would take the time to comment on my past doodles, etc. You always make others feel wonderful. Which is doubly amazing because you have had so much to deal with lately. I so admire you AND your incredible talent!! What a darling little girl! Such detail in the toys. I totally love her dress and the polka-dot background!! --Rebekah

Bjornik, whut? You want me to pull you around?! Gah. Oh, but you are a skinny thing. I can pull you around easily. ;)

I just had another wonderful treat! First I got to come before the counter comments hit 30 yayyyyyyyy me!! he he he! What a fabulous illustration. Your line work Bella is so simple, but yet so detailed and soft. I adore your color palette as well. You would make Mary Blair so gosh darn happy. Your illustrations make me laugh and smile and even giggle. I love this. What a great welcome for Jeff. Let me tell you I checked out your brother-in-laws blog and the website gallery and all I could say was." WAAH WA WOOWOWOWOOOOW!!!! GOOOOOOD NIGHTTTTT He's talented!!!" The man is completely amazing and I was blown away, by his elegant and beautiful work. He's super duper amazing and talented!!! I also left him a nice long comment about how awesome I thought his work was. I am just a lover of art, illustrations, and crafts. I rather illustrate or look at someone else's expression than anything in the world. Amazing Jeff is. Thanks so much for sharing him with us. We won't hurt him he he he! I promise. Oh I would like to take this precious Booba home with me. She is welcome to being her little wagon. Please ask her if the wagon is insured and can hold up to 200 pounds. I would also like to know, how many miles to the gallon, and what the monthly payments would be for the wagon that is???? he he he he! I love you to the highest heaven lady! Kiss the girls.

Bella Sinclair said...

Hahaha, Vanessa, you are craaaaaazzzyyy! Hahahahaha! This wagon is very fuel efficient, darling. It runs on Ho-Hos and cream puffs. Not too great on the emissions, though (poor doggy doesn't have a very good seat there, HA!). Jeff is going to go gaga over your comment. You always leave such wonderful ones. BUT THE DOLL! DID YOU SEE THE DOLL?????

Bino, welcome!

Hey, Monica (Puro)! Yes, Jeff's paintings are amazing, I agree.

Hi, Owl Eng. Thanks for visiting. :)

Sara B, thanks. Yes, I think the doggie sure is happy.

Thanks, Debbie. He's a great guy, too.

Julie, thank you.

Anna, not nearly as fab as Jeff's works.

Esque, a miniature cow!? I don't think I've ever seen one. How cute! Mini milkshakes?

Hi, Bobo. Thank you!

Hello, Renee, dear. Perfect in my imperfections. The girls are really enjoying their new schools. But they are easily adaptable. I'm so lucky to have them. Thanks for asking. How is your mom doing?

Eric, domo arigato.

Yes, Deborah! He's got the bulk of the talent, though. His wife (my husband's sister) is also artistic, so I hear. She hasn't done anything since high school, unfortunately.

Hi, Erin. I love 'em, too.

You're welcome, Laughingwolf. I can point at him all day.

What a nice stuff in your wagon! Especially the rainbow:)
He makes beautiful paintings! I have no patience for oilpaint.

It makes me happy as I can give you a smile when you visit my blog!
Now you've given me back a smile :)

Thank you xoxo

Bella Sinclair said...

Hello, Gypsy. My heart is still racing from your story.

Oh no, Ces, you certainly do not need a sidebra! Some of those people in those photos yesterday did, though.

Ah, Patricia. That's a fair exchange, then. Thank you.

J Perrault said...

I feel like I was lurking in a crowded auditorium, enjoying the ambience with my glass of wine, then I looked up from the cheese tray to find everyone staring at me.

Thank you Bella for your awesome "Wagon". You really are an inspiration.

Thank you all for your welcome and kind comments. I'm turning red in embarassment.

Bella Sinclair said...

Hahaha, Jeff. You deserve so much more recognition for your gift. Lurk no more. By the way, Emma wants to know why you like to draw so many nekkid people. Ha!

Ces said...

Would you ever consider posing for one of those paintings of Jeff's

Just in case a retort involves me, I have already modeled for the vinegar woman series.

ValGalArt said...

this is super-cute! i love it :) off to see your Jeff :)

J Perrault said...

Give Emma-Wemma a big hug for me. Same for Nona.

Connor once asked me that same question and my answer is; if you can draw or paint the human figure accurately and well then u can draw or paint just about anything.

To all: Bella has posed for many studies and paintings, most of them nude. Would you like me to post them on my blog?

(Payback is a ....)

tp said...

Hope you have a lovely day!!

Bella Sinclair said...

Ces, ANYone who looks at your sidebar can tell that you have no resemblance to the Vinegar Woman whatsoever. You are beautiful Scarlet.

Hey, Val. Thank you. Enjoy.

Jeff, WTF!!!! Okay, that is just wrong on SO many levels. Hhahahaha!

Hi, tp! Dude sure can paint. Thanks :)

Dear Yoon See. Aww, too sweet.

Thank you, Giovanna. A good day was had.

Always thinking of others..your Brother-in-law is so talented as you are. Love the welcome wagon.

Mônica said...

Jeff's painting are amazing, Bella! So much talent in your family!

Your illustration again is so delicate and full of charm. And you know I like that puppy in the wagon!

J Perrault said...

Lol...that's what S said. She's annoyed at me.

J/K all Bella has never modeled for me. (That would be kinda weird actually.) I did start a painting from a photo of her and her daughter during an easter egg hunt years ago, but couldn't make it work. Cute photo though.

serline said...

I like the rainbow ribbon in your wagon. What are you going to do with the toys in the wagon? Can I have that ribbon? I'll make it into a welcome banner for you and Jeff.

Andrea said...

Hi Bella - beautiful work again! I love your style. Simple and lovely. Thanks for your encouraging words the other day! It is inspiring to know others are working through similar circumstances and still thriving! Happy Friday to you!

cally jane studio said...

AWWWW!!! That's so cute!! I love your work! :)

Bella Sinclair said...

Ah, Caren, he has much more talent and initiative than I.

Monica, the puppy is yours!

Jeff, I remember that egg hunt. Good times, good times.

Hey, Serline. Of course you may have the rainbow! It would make a very cute sundress, too.

Andrea, you always make me smile. Thank you.

Justdoodleit, yes, seriously cool. :)

Thank you, Fashion Fucsia. You can play with them anytime.

Haha, Pencil Pocket. And I Love your sweet avatar and name!

Mel, thank you so much.

Hahaha, Ces! He is a crack-up. And sorry, but it's a mud-cake with twig candles.

Ah, Eric-san! Hahaha. A Japanese friend once told me that you can say, 'You're welcome,' by saying 'Don't touch my moustache," really, really fast. Try it, it works. Though kind of odd if you are a woman.

Alexiev, your English is good! Thanks.

Ooooh, Caroline! Ya got me. I was going to vandalize Jeff's fence. Or perhaps I should cover up the naughty bits in his paintings.

Thank you, Tammie!

Mia Mi, thanks. :)

Hello, Jenn. I think I just gave the rainbow ribbon to Serline, but there's more where that came from.

Thank you, Valerie. You will love his work.

SleepyPillow, you have such a cute name!

Hey, hey, Brian! Hahaha, yes, I am da pimp. Jeff is my ho.

Aw, Diana. And you are sweet, too.

Hiya, Julia! Happy Friday!

Cally Jane, thank you!

Ces said...

Yes indeed, the three sisters belong together. don't they?

get zapped said...

This is so sweet! I can imagine the fun she'll have with her wagon of goodies. Makes me want to play :)

get zapped said...

Nice paintings - love the feel to them. Found you through Bella :)

Angela Matteson said...

She's so darling! I love her little sailor dress, and her wagon full of treasures. :)

Bella Sinclair said...

Dear Ces, yes they do. They will always be together in spirit. Hey. What happened to the one-comment rule?

Come out and play, Zapped!

Angelato, I may just have to sew a giant sailor-dress for myself. Want one, too?

Ces said...

The one-comment rule does not count for this post only on the current post. By the way I can always have another dog and Daisy does not lick my leg, She just leans on it or rests her head on it. But a licking dog may be nice. What type of dog will the second one be? I want it to be a lap dog! And I will make an exception, I will let her sleep in my bed.

WHAT THE... The freakin' word verification is "hotowns" WTH!!!

Only in your blog! hotowns, Blogger is getting down and dirty! I kid you not. I will take a screen print and send it to you!

Ces said...

Your Honor, The Mayor Bella! I am sooo tempted to break the rule and the promise. Today is not a good day for painting.

The Viking said...

Bella: I enjoy your Susie artwork....I have little creative skills in that regard, unable to draw a straight line, although I am quite adept at drawing a parabola and hyperbola. (?!)

Amy C said...

awwwww, squeal, this is so sweet and so nostalgic and I wish I could wear a little sailor dress too.
p.s. your bro in lo is super talented too.
