Providence and Gratitude

How can I ever thank you enough for your compassion and prayers. I have read each and every one of your warm and loving messages and have held them to my heart. And one by one, they have helped to fill the void.

I am blessed to have found so many wonderful and dear friends in the blogging community. Perhaps it was Providence. Perhaps the Fates, knowing they would take my beloved husband, were merciful and gave me good friends to soften the pain. Hundreds of hands to catch me when I fell. Hundreds of balloons to lift me upward again. I will not question it. I am just ever so thankful to have you in my life.

My girls and I are doing well. We miss him, and think of him, and still shed some tears. But we are, for the most part, at peace. We are rebuilding our lives and are holding each other up with the help of loving family members and friends. I intend on visiting each and every one who left me kind words on my last post to give a personal thank you. It might take me a while, but I will do it.

In the meantime, please keep my dear friend Renee, and her sister Jacquie and nephew Sheldon in your prayers.

xoxo

Dear Bella, I followed your blog at the time when you were grieving for your loss. I found out about you because the award that was designed by Ces in your name had spread like wild fire in the part of the blogosphere I was in. Many of us regarded it as a special award because of the heartfelt message Ces had left about the friendships shared between you.

I just want to let you know that it is very good to see your post here and I am genuinely happy (even though I have not known you) to read that you and your girls are slowly recovering.

Imagine my surprise and delight when I read that Jean had awarded me the "Bella Sinclair Award for Art Inspiration."

I was thrilled to be the recipient of an award - but I wondered who is Bella Sinclair and who is Ces - the designer of the award in your name?

Easy to find out - I Googled you both and spent awhile browsing your websites. What a wonderful and inspiring way to spend some time this morning - I am in LOVE with your art - you are so creative.

I was saddened to hear of the sudden and unexpected death of your dear husband. I am so sorry. It seems that you have many friends and relatives to surround you in your time of sorrow - that's good.

Blessings and best wishes from Panama.

Pardon me, I feel reluctant to break the solemnity of this post BUT you were Shooting-for-100 commenting there and then Poof!

Blessings Bella! I love this beautiful image - of bouquets of hearts carrying love into the heavens. It's so good to *hear* your voice and see your art and see the words of assurance that you send of peace in yours and your daughter's hearts.
Yes, the prayers and love flow to Renee, Jacquie, Sheldon and her family, too. So much beauty and so much heart ache keeping this world a spinning...
much love and peace to you, Karin

I see the apples did not fall far from the tree! The epsilons' art are wonderful and I love both of them. Tell the girls, you now have competition for my oohs and ahhs. I really adore them. YEAH!

Hi Bella, This amazing picture made me cry. There is so much pain and sadness in there, so much yearning, and yet it is so beautiful. I will look at it often.

You are such a strong and beautiful person.

Thank you for sharing the lovely photo of your husband!

Welcome back!
