Whoa

Peter Donnelly, Sand Dancer and inspiration. What I wouldn't give to watch this man at work and absorb his passion, his energy.

"It's not 'perform for money,' it's not 'perform for an audience.' It's 'perform for yourself', a potential audience..... But it's really for my own wholeness."

Enjoy.

What a lovely talent this man possesses! He truly creates just for the sake of creation. What a fascinating fellow.

since passion is just about my very favorite characteristic in all the world, i believe i know it when i see it. and bella sinclair, i'm pretty sure you already have it!

for me, it's the patience, not the passion. and the ability to see large and far. sometimes i'm just rushing through. so to watch mr. donnelly take his time, that's a good life lesson, huh?!

ps i like how he adeptly steps on the letters he's done already and doesn't worrying about messing them up

double hugs to you bella. have fun.

Isn't this just fantastic?! Talk about putting your heart and soul into your work - he puts his whole body in it and must be so physically tired after it! Amazing that he has no plan too - just goes with the flow!! Thanks for sharing with us Bella.

Reminds me of the chalk artists and sand castle scluptors who paint those great artwork and sculpt masterpieces that get washed and blown away by the elements. This is the antithesis of permanence and posterity.

Incredibly inspiring - so amazing how he can create such beauty without an areal view or a "plan." And to make such incredible art just for a few hours before it's washed away. Amazing! Silke

Oh I am in love with this man. That made me feel so emotional. What an incredible talent and to be able to see perspective 'on the ground' as it were. I'm just amazed. It reminded me of the video of Jackson Pollock painting, the difference being that at the end of it, Pollock had a painting.

"I can see the large picture while (the whole thing) I am doing a particle of it."...sums up his journey of self discovery as an artist rather well and remains true for any quest along a similar path.

Hello my dear friend.

You sensed right.

Ces sent me an email and I told her she could send it to you because I don't have your email. It is whatever. I am just a total suck right now.

So if Ces sees this, please forward the email to my dear Bella.

Love Renee xoxo
