What's in my new and treasured moleskine:

I've been having fun adding to Ces's artwork in the breathtaking moleskine she sent to me.

That is a funny pic of the little girl running away with the towel! Is that you, Bella? LOL! :)

Ces said...

I can't stop laughing!!!
You are so clever!

Bella Sinclair said...

Hahahaha! Yes, I stole Ces's towel! Heeeheeeheeeeee

Ces said...

I love the way you inverted her scream because she is running!

Bella Sinclair said...

And you have a very sexy elbow. HAHA!

Marie S said...

OMG!!! You are Genius!!
I bow down to you!

Bella Sinclair said...

Hahaha, Marie, please get up. I think you are bowing at the wrong blog. You should be bowing to Ces for her genius.

Marie S said...

You added to it though, right??? I bow down to both of you!
I can not stop laughing!!!

Bella Sinclair said...

Hahaha, do you see yourself, Sister Marie?

Sorry, but I had to take the flying nun habit.

deepazartz said...

Thats so pretty and naughty:)

Marie S said...

I was told that you were to have the flying nun habit because you were there first and are highly favored with mother supierior and the head nun. I understand. I am content with my earth bound status.
LOL!!! I love you running with the towel!! It is the best! I can see you in spirit now!
I will laugh my way in to the air.

Bella Sinclair said...

Hi, Deepa! Yes, I like being naughty. :)

See, Marie? You don't need the habit to fly!

Caroline said...

I love your additions Bella - they are hilarious!! What fun you're going to have with this!

Marie S said...

I can just imagine you chuckling to yourself as you were drawing it.
Up, up, and away

HAAAHAAHAAHHAAHAAHAAAAHAAAHAAHAAHAAHHAAHAHAAHHAAHHAA!!! OH you all are a HOOOOOT for real!!! A scream all of you. I just love all that yummy line work. It's simply delicious. What did we ever do without those wonderful note books??? I have a couple of my friends who are passing their note books around the country doing a similar kind of thing. When it's finish it's sent to a gallery. It's just amazing, but I would love to see what kind of children's book you ladies would come up with. That would be amazing!!! Give Ces her towel back hee hee hee! Is she still standing around in the book dip drying???? You might want to give a piece of paper from the note book at least. I don't want her arrest for nudity! hee hee hee hee. MORE, MORE, MORE!!! of this craziness please! It feels so good!

Björnik said...

Hahaha! You're so funny Bella! I think you should join moleskine exchanges and add more fun to the serious illustrations.

Bella Sinclair said...

Oh, Caroline, too much fun! Ces keeps me young. :)

Yes, Marie. I believe I actually started levitating! My husband is a bit jealous of all my private giggling, I think.

Valerie, is there any other way to be? ;)

Miss V!!!! You are such a HOOT!!! Nah, I shall leave her drip drying. She'll have to streak across the pages. I like pushing her buttons. HA!

Bjornik, hiya! Oh, I don't think those serious artists would want me to muck up their moleskines. Besides, it's much more fun drawing with people I truly adore.

HanamiGallery said...

hahahahahaha very cute! i like the girl running away with towel~ hahahaha. very cute very cute

Kaili (Billy and Button) said...

Together you and Ces have turned out one amazing and hilarious moleskine!! Such great illustrations both of you!

Bella, I love ur little characters, they are so lively!

Sarah said...

Giggle Snort Bella - love them!!!! Lucky Ces!!! Sarah

Ces said...

Good morning! Good Night!

Oh darn! I forgot that. That is something I should have drawn with me asleep with a night background on one page and then you awake with a day background and doing something really mischievous to ruin my sleep.

...and then something like you are supposed to be checking off some tasks on a to-do-list now set on the wayside because I ruin your day!

You made that Moleskine so much more meaningful with your drawings. I thought you will write notes on it but you did up the ante and viola!

Ces said...

By the way, no buttons for you to push! I have totally got rid of them before I sent the Moleskine to you - see! No Ces with buttons. It's a buttonless-Ces I sent you knowing your naughty and fun mind will want to push them! Thanks for the sexy elbow compliment.

Arija said...

You two girls are tops! It must be great to be able to draw what is in your head or heart...my hand just won't follow...RATS!!!

esque said...

Very cool! You know what would be really fun, a moleskine exchange ....
*wink*

HAHAHAHA!!

'Get thee to a nunnery!'

I love it! Throwing in some Shakespeare's always good, yeah?

I love how fun of the last piece. In fact, today Sharon and I witnessed that in a baby store. Out runs this little one screaming his head off and having a blast. Five seconds later here comes mom (screaming as well, but having a much less fun time)!

Cheryl Lynn said...

This is amazing! I love the line work, it's great. I used to partake all the time when I was deep into my illo. I think I'll revisit it--you lovely ladies make it look like soooo much fun!

Love the towel runner. Surely that's something my goddaughter would do!

HIIII-larious!

Ces said...

I think part of the extreme fun derived from this exercise is the fact that it is NOT an exchange. I would be totally stressed out with an exchange. Also isn't an exchange something like I draw on a Moleskine and then another person does his /her piece on another page. I think there was one other exercise where there was true collaboration and that is Karin's and Lynne's journal sharing. I would totally be so stressed if I had to add upon someone's art, what if she did not like it? To me art has always been pure freedom of expression, not command performance. That is probably why I can't finish a commission. What do you think Bella? Would you have been open to such an activity. HOWEVER, the only thing that could top this is when we are at a coffee shop drawing together on the same page and laughing our assess off! For the time being I like knowing that I did a certain drawing while talking to you at the same time or just even thinking of you like the Scarlet painting and seeing your infectious sense of humor penetrate the canvas with my brush strokes and send a smile or a giggle to my face that makes me open blazing cadmium red and orange pigments!

Oh gees, you are gonna wake up to these mushy comments of mine.

Brilliant Bella. The running with the towel. Love it.

Hotel California I'm there.

Love you.

Oh by the way I am glad to see you flying. As it should be.

Mother Superior's special favourite.

Hahahhahaha! I say more: hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Ces said...

...and another thing, I have seen those drawings on Moleskine Exchanges. Man, those are like exhibition type paintings and drawings, these are just doodles and quite frankly I drew a lot of them laughing and giggling and dozing off...these are more expressions of tenderness rather than display of skill. I would never be able to do something like this for a stranger towards whom I have no feelings of affection.

Renee said...

Bella it is so brilliant and so sweet at the same time.

I love it. xoxoxo

Yes, I know I am repeating myself but I can't help it.

Love Renee xoxo

Ces said...

Me too. I love what you are doing to it! It makes me very happy and I laugh laugh laugh!

Your nun drawings are better than mine. Mine are serious nuns on renee's Moleskine. I was so afraid to screw up because she is Mother Superior, you know.

Draffin Bears said...

Oh Bella, what a funny drawing!
It made me smile and laugh.

Love it! Your moleskine is going to be delightful.

Hugs
Carolyn

Christy Croll said...

Very, very funny! LOL

aimee said...

a collaboration between bella and ces! i love it! what if the exchange were just between you two, instead of a larger moleskine exchange - that way it would be simply a visual conversation between two people whose talents and senses of humor play off each other beautifully. and for the rest of us, it would be so much fun, never knowing what turn the conversation would take from page to page. i think it would be brilliant.

Thanks for your sweet comment on my blog. :-) The question about my avatar (had to think at first what that was) made me laugh. I think I was taking a bite out of Daniel's super delicious Cuban sandwich (we were at a Cuban restaurant) when he snapped the picture... :) Silke

Hi Bella,
I am so happy you love them.
By the way, is that really safe arriving there.
Please don't try to please me, I must know the truth because in the future, if I send things which are fragile, I must use different better method.
I am sure you are so busy with the major shifting issue back to US.
Hope you are fine and got the balance diet, rest and stay up with all things.
I am quite busy now.
One week I go two yoga classes and see doctor now.
Going to yoga takes around 2 hour plus traveling.
It could take up almost 3 hours plus traveling, which is very time consuming.
What to do.....
I am not perfect, sorry I forget to include a card for you and your family.
Please forgive me.

So, which one you love Bella and how about your Children?
Your friend,
Yoon See

Bye-bye!

You know I haven't forgotten about the deliciousness that I told you I wanted to send you to you and your girls. I just sent and email to Eric to tell him that I hadn't forgotten about what I promised. These works are on display right now and are being exhibited here in Jersey and I won't get them back until after the show and then I will mail them out to you wonderful people. hee hee hee! Have a good one.
