OMG! You are a genius! How do you come up with these great and wonderful ideas! It's like opening a Christmas present everytime I see anew post from you! WOW! This is truly FANTASTIC! A great ending to a wonderful day. What a treat!!!
ha ha ha!! Bella, have I told you that you are the best? the idea is awesome! the little monster there is so cute, as the little girl. and boy, what a great idea.. yeah
So very, very beautiful. You have an astonishing clarity of vision. When I look in the mirror unawares, that's exactly what looks back at me...how on earth do you know these things?
Hahaha! What a lovely twist Bella! Bravo! I thought the little girl's going to punch the monster or something. But maybe she was thinking if they had the same stylist.haha
I love every frame and how the story developed. Just like reading it with your words. It actually makes a good 5 second ad for children. On second thought, parents might get annoyed with unexpected blockouts caused by kids turning off the lights just to see this adorable monster.haha
woah so cool!! what a cool concept too!! haha i like the first one the best because it really keeps you wondering what is next to the girl. and i like the last one too!! awesome job!!! really amazing!!
HAHAHA! I love it! Wonderful idea, Bella! I love how you managed to make the little monster so cute - and made it even cuter with the final twist! Great stuff
ack! this is so clever - like a little flip book! i agree, there is an awesome twist at the end - i would have expected maybe a candy land or a palace of toys. but heeheehee... you made her face up to a monster. it's a very cute one!
what a silly monster and what a calm little girl. my favorite frame is the first--who can't remember being in a dark bedroom waiting for her/his eyes to adjust? remember those old hand held movies, bella, where you turned some thing-a-ma-gig and one picture after another brought the motion to life? that is what this does for me. it's very very fun to see the range of your talent. yay!
Oh, hoohohoohoho... such a cute set! the lit'l girl is so cool and the monster, well, naughty! bella, you did it again! so this is what you've been up to? :)
Wow, thank you, everyone! It was nice to do another Illustration Friday prompt. And Caren, depending on the drawing, it usually takes me a couple of hours to doodle, and then another couple to color on Illustrator. :)
I love these pages Bella and I want to save Ces' birthday page only for wonderful birthday wishes for our dear friend.
There is something about you Bella that I have loved from the start.
Is it an essence, a spirit, an energy force that comes from you that makes me connect right away. Is it the art and the words that I think, I love her and I want only very good things to happen to her and her family?
I just wonder, because I can be left so cold by so many.
What a great interpretation of the theme. I so relate to this idea, I was scared of the dark as a kid and I still have my moments even now. But I must say that monster looks like a cutie in a cheeky kinda way.
Ha ha.. wonderful! Here I was hoping the lizard monster would scream in terror at the sight of the girl and you went and did something so much better. Bravo my friend!
What a lovely idea, and I adore that third one - the two poses are just perfect. How do you inject such charm into your pictures? You've got such incredible talent - I'm insanely jealous.
I always ask for socks for Christmas and usually get Very Practical ones. I should buy my own socks I guess. Are the Hello Kitties really that big?? That is frustrating about your camera battery but take comfort that no electronic device would have captured the feeling you had when you heard her play. xoxo
gobsmacking. really, really... fantastic. I don't know what to say - it's absolutely brilliant, so brilliant it's laughable. That makes sense, right? ;)
