Photo Safari - Disney Sea

Just outside of Tokyo is Tokyo Disneyland. And right next to it is an equally magical theme park called Disney Sea. My kids have a couple of days off school, so we took advantage of a sunny Thursday and went to Disney Sea. What a beautiful park! Parts of it look like old Venice and turn-of-the-century New York City. Here are a few photos from our outing. Enjoy!

Jel-LOUS! My kids would love that. (well Zak would anyway). How FUN! I wish we had Disneyland here is Australia! Ive wanted to go since I was a child :D And Im a sucker for popcorn, I would def try the strawberry flavoured one! How was that? Did you have a taste? Kaili x

Renee, well, Mr. Disney, of course. :) Wish you were with us.

Kaili: I hope you do get to go one day. Mmm, yes the strawberry popcorn was actually quite yummy. Perhaps my favorite, besides caramel. Over at DisneyLAND, they make other unique flavors of popcorn, too, like soda-flavor, honey, curry. Sometimes, people will wait in line for 45 minutes just to get a certain popcorn!

Wow! That's some park - looks like a wonderful day out! Lovely pics, all. Love the pink bag with its text, you'd see a lot of that in Hong Kong too - the strangest slogans on T-shirts making no sense whatsoever!! What's that - no smoking fish there? And cappucino pop corn! Am amazed to learn that you can get it in so many flavours in Japan!

I would like like to go and spend a day in Tokyo Disneyland. Maybe when I come and visit Japan two or three years from now!

Bella Sinclair said...

Hi, Caroline. HA! Yes, no smoking fish allowed. :D

Hey there, Earvin. I do hope you get to come here in a couple of years. I think you'd have so much fun!

Good morning Bella! Wow what a wonderful treat I got this friday morning! This sure looks like a fairy tale (my favorite place is fairy tale). I loved the "no smoking fish" sign, funny LOL

I also loved tje bright colors, I thinl I got something to draw with my crayons today, between calls.

(Btw, I am honored to see you following my blog! Wow!)

Hi Bella, thanks for your great shots. The disneyland really look fun, I hope I can visit you and have fun together with your kids one day. You must be my tour guide Bella:)

About the magic wand, God gave one to me. I must listen to his calling:)

That looks like a very fun place to take your girls! I had no idea that there were smoking fish that needed to be banned! LOL! ;)

They built an entire port city! The Japanese are very fashionable and well dressed. I always admired that about them. I hope they won't get "Americanized" in their manner of dressing.

Glad to hear you had a wonderful girls-day-out celebration. Uh oh, I see an illustration coming up.

Oooo Disneysea!! Hehehe you were at my neighborhood (^_^) Well technically anyway. Did you try the tower of terror?

esque said...

Whoa, tower of terror!? That sounds intriguing! The whole idea of Disney Sea is awesome! What a great way to spend a day!

the no smoking fish! i am intrigued! you are a MUCH better mother than i am. mine had the day off from school and i just shuttled them off to mcdonald's playland - simply because i wanted a caramel sundae.

oh wow!!! these photos are amazing....what a colourful place...

Ces said...

By the way, that volcano, is that real? Is it really huge?

Bella Sinclair said...

Hi, Dusik! You're right. It IS a fairy tale place. The happiest place on earth, right? Your pencil drawing is marvelous! Can't wait to see what you do with the crayons. :D

Oh, Yoon See, wouldn't it be fabulous to visit one day. You've given me some great photo tours at your blog. I'm glad I could give you a little tour, too.

Oh, yes, TattingChic. Fish emphysema is rising at an alarming rate. To see those little things hacking away is pitiful.

Ces, I completely agree! The Japanese are quite fashionable. I hope Americans get Japonicized. And that volcano is huge! Enough to house several rides, including a roller coaster, a shop and eating place. Little puffs of smoke escape throughout the day. Aesthetic-wise, I liked DisneySea better than Disneyland.

Glad you enjoyed them, Flower Girl!

Milkberry! Oooooh, you live near there? I'm so envious. And YES, I did go on the Tower of Terror. I HATE freefall, though! I never screamed harder in my life. When it ended, my little one was almost in hysterics and tears, saying, "Why did you make me go on this! It was the worst time of my life!" But 10 minutes later, she couldn't stop talking about how cool and awesome it was. Very small mental retention. ;)

Esque, Tower of Terror sounds like something you would totally enjoy!

Hi, Dot! Jellyfish ride.... Very pretty, but low on the adrenaline factor.

Hey, Jess! Thanks for stopping by! Mmmm, the popcorn. Strawberry was much better than cappucino, though.

HA, Aimee! I don't know about that. I don't throw my kids impromptu art parties. And one day at Disney buys me many more days of being lazy at home. :)

Hi, Diana. Yes, a colorful place. I wish the whole world were like this. Except everything would be overpriced.

Looks like a fun place to go and visit and have some fun with your children Bella.
Great photos and yes, I loved the "no smoking fish" and the message on the pink bag.

I have never tried strawberry or cappuccino popcorn but it does sound yum but... curry? I think I would give that a miss!

Enjoy your weekend
Hugs
Carolyn

Ooo I'm envious. I wanna ride the tower but when I went there we had to wait 2 hours to ride it!! I figured that it's just not worth it haha. How long did you wait?

Bella Sinclair said...

Oh, I know, Carolyn. I haven't tried curry or soda, but I'm extremely curious. The next time I go, I'll have to do it, and I'll let you know.

Milkberry! Ok, the trick is to go on a weekday when it's still chilly out (think winter months). The Tower of Terror wait was 45 minutes. The longest line I saw was 80 minutes. Next time you go, you'll have to Fastpass it. :)

Milkberry said...

Oh! No wonder :D
The last time I went, it was after 6 and on christmas! Hahaha what an awful time to go (with a girl friend, too).

Thanks Bella for your kind thoughts.

I am saving money for travelling after my recovery from my illness.

All my reserved money is for my health. I use it for my monthly health supplement. It's very expensive. I am sad sometimes why God seems to let me have the problem and it's a test I need to face.
It's not easy:(
Because of it, I have missed out a lot of excitements......
If not, I could have travelled to many places already.....like those that I mentioned before.
Yeah, only God understands my predator and wants me to be humble always:)
I need to pray for strength and hope. I will continue to fight for this battle.

Hi Bella, I'm envious. Only been to disneyland during my stay there.:(

Bella Sinclair said...

Oh, Yoon, I'm so sorry about your health woes. I wish I could make them go away, because you are such a gifted and generous person. You deserve so much more. I will pray for recovery and happiness for you. Hugs.

Bjornik, well, you have to save something for the next time you come to Japan, ne? It will be waiting for you.

Thanks Bella, you are always my dear friend. I am glad to know you. You have the kindest heart in the world.
Your family, husband, children and friends are also so lucky to have you as a good wife, mummy, friend...etc
You are so good from telling jokes to comforting friends.....etc.
No wonder you have a great circle of friends:)
I am glad to be one.
May God always be with you and your family. The best blessings from God and friends.
Amen.

Bless you, Yoon. My friends make me happy. YOU make me happy.

Oh, Monica, he right he is! There is so much kawaii here, I avoid going into stores. Plus the fact that things are quite expensive. Still, hope you guys come here one day.
