Ei Bella, you don't like elephants. DO you?haha I love this and I have a special spot for them in my heart. In fact I have elephants in my room. An ashtray and a figurine from Thailand, given by my friends. The Zoochan pendant from my Japanese friend. And last but not the least, a view of a white elephant from my window!hahahaLovely illustration as always.:)
OOOoh tat elephant!! its so cute! :)
Are you kidding, Bjornik? Elephants are one of my favorites. So majestic and intelligent, and such a range of human-like emotions. But I also like hot-air balloons, so to have an elephant hot-air balloon is pure joy! See? I told you you inspire me. :)Hiya, Shugar! Domo arigato!
i love the elephant!!it must be very fun and thrilling in this special hot air balloon, playing with the moon and stars
Yes! I love the elephants' characteristics. They are gentle and intelligent. I especially love how the mothers take care of the calves and if the mother dies, the calf gets adoted by the other mothers. I love Dumbo. I cried when I saw the movie again, when they caged Dumbo's mother and the children did not know what to do with me. Aw, then again I cried with Lion King, Finding Nemo...don't tell anyone. I love the simplicity of your lines yet full of creative touches like the propellers and the girl scattering the butterflies. A happy image and inspirational to other artists.
I think I need to wash my face.
...and you used a polka doted cup!
There! I washed my face :)
Hello, Owl Eng. Oh, I agree. Must be. I wonder where they are headed.OMG, Ces! Looks like you scrubbed real hard! :D Hahahahaha! I'm the same way with certain books, like the story of Hachiko or The Giving Tree. I cannot read it as a bedtime story without my voice getting all shaky and my heart tightening up. Amuses the kids to no end. And yes, that's my favorite coffee cup! I have a set from Fishseddy.com:http://www.fishseddy.com/browse.cfm/4,1001.htmlI also have their square Alice in Wonderland plates, which I just love. :)
Thank you for directing me to the website. I like the Jordan's Sketchbook serving pieces but would prefer Bella Sinclair's Doodlespot!
This is the sweetest illustration, Bella! Enjoying my visits to your blog!
Sooo beautiful! It´s really wonderful!Francisco Martinswww.subversivetales.blogspot.comwww.subversivetales.com
You do such great drawings. Are you going to start selling them on etsy, or through Cafepress, or something like that?

Very cute! I love the elephant balloon! :)
hey hey, where are they going-flying? some adventure is ahead?please please share the story! i always look forward to some "21 snowwhites and an apple" kind of background (LOL.. just kidding)
Beautiful drawing!!!A whole baby room could be inspired from that sketch!
just beautiful....ahhh...to sail away !!!
That's so cute. I'd love a helium-filled elephant!
Ces, you start designing your own line of fiestaware, and maybe I'll follow suit. ;)Hello, Caroline. I enjoy visiting you, too!Thank you so much, Francisco. Welcome.Aww, Jen, thank you. So many great artists on Etsy, I don't know how I'd fare. But I think about it from time to time. Maybe when I return to the states later this year....Hiya, Aimee! Well, you know. When the cat's away, the mice will play. :) Plus, I'm not studying Japanese much anymore, which frees a lot of my time. Following your ever-changing and colorful blog has inspired me to post more.Haha, TattingChic. How about sheep balloons? Or sweatered chicken balloons?Hi, Dusik! I don't know. You tell me where they're going. Alas, I have no head for original stories.Hi, Shannon! Thank you. Imagine -- animal balloons of every kind hanging from the ceiling. :) The kid would grow up psychotic, I think.I know, Nancy, right? Sometimes, you just want to sail away.Thank you, Voz. A helium filled elephant BALLOON. A very important distinction, since I don't think an actual helium-filled elephant would be pleasant. ;)
This is super awesome. Seriously, in every possible way. You've got an amazing imagination to come up with this. The funny thing is, all of the disparate objects come together and make complete sense. They make sense to me, at least (but you already know I'm a bit warped, so I don't know if that carries a lot of weight). Anyway, this is one of my favorite Bella creations yet. I'd most certainly hang it on the wall.
I plan on teaching a little needle felting class...just to get people started...through Creative Workshops... I just love your drawings! I'm glad you scrolled down to see the baby in diapers.lol. Laurie
No, Chris. Just putting down a few things that I've seen. Now MONSTERS. THAT's imagination for ya, and I trust you haven't seen them roaming your neighborhood. And please, should you ever have the desire, do print it out (for the nursery?). Your work already adorns my home. :)Laurie, reallY? Creative Workshop? Do tell.....
Gorgeous! I have a drawing in my sketchbook of an elephant that looks just like this one! They must be related! xx
Quick, Kaili. Check your sketchbook to see if he's still there. He may have run away to join the balloon brigade. :)
i will not think twice but fly away with this!
As you probably can see, I keep checking for new Bella Illustration Delights. No pressure :)
Well this is brilliant. I love it. I am going to try to keep that image in my head when I go for all my scans again in March. As far as that picture goes, I believe it is real. Remember my art heist......Love Renee
