IF - Opinion

Harajuku Girl Fashion
It's hard not to have an opinion about it.

Actually, theses are pretty mild compared to the real thing. Some costumes are very frilly and elaborate. Or very goth. A goth Bo Peep. Imagine it.

A bit of startling news to report. My husband has been let go from his job, so our days as expats are coming to an end. We will be heading to our home in Arizona soon. I'm having a hard time settling on one opinion about it. I've come to truly enjoy Tokyo and will miss our friends and life here. On the other hand, I'm looking forward to the ease of American life again. One thing's for sure. We're off on another adventure and moving on to another chapter of our lives.

your little girl doodles amaze me, bella. i keep saying they're beautiful, but i need to find better adjectives. you would make a brilliant children's book illustrator.

Sorry to hear about your husband's job! For me, I'd probably be sad to leave Tokyo and return to AZ, as I've lived in AZ and didn't like it (I lived in Queen Creek, the boonies, so that was probably it). In any case, best of luck on your return!

I love your fashion girls; I wonder what their names are and when you'll open an etsy shop so I can buy them!!

Adventure indeed. I hope you will settle back comfortably in Arizona.

As for the Harajuku Girl Fashion, I bought my daughter a pair of knee high sneakers - totally awesome but she only wore it a dozen times.
