I keep all my precious childhood memories in a blond wooden box, tied securely with chocolate grosgrain ribbon. Every few years I open the lid and let them fly freely.
Cool picture. I like the fact that the pic is in black and white but the memories are in colour - the reverse of lots of representations. Now I know what grosgrain means too!

Nice! Great treatment of the image, I like the feel and the expression of interest in the little girl (I have a 2 year old daughter, so I'm very bias).
She's absolutely beautiful! I love the effect you have going here. That black and white with the touch of color is just so hot and fresh. I always enjoy looking at your work. You are something esle! When I grow up I want to be as talented and kind as you.

This is so beautiful, I wish I had a box like that myself. I really like how you combined the pencil drawing with the colorful memories coming out of the box... I also love how you did the ground, with the round, squiggly lines...
Seriously awesome! I love the concept and fantastic imagery you've created. The scribbly floor is great as are the iconic "memories" fluttering above the girl. Imagination appeals to me in a big way and your illustration is packed with it.
